Julia Ann (Greco) Homer,100, of North Attleboro, MA passed away on February 18, 2024, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. She was the wife of the late William A. Homer.
She was born on December 31, 1923, in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Eli Greco and Ines (Casale) Greco. Raised and educate in her native community, she later lived in Springfield, MA for 30 years before returning to North Attleboro.
Julia worked as a Customer Service Representative for Massachusetts Mutual Insurance Company for 10 years in their 401(k) department and later at the satellite office of Comcast having worked in the billing department for 10 years.
She was an active member of the Italian Club, the Plainville Senior Center, and the Center's Dance Club. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, playing cards, playing Canasta, and working on crossword puzzles. Julia cherished the time she spent with her sisters.
Julia is survived by her sisters: Mary A. Davis, of North Attleboro, MA and Beatrice "Bea" L. Bosh of North Attleboro, MA. She was also preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, James Davis III and John Bosh.
She was the aunt of William Bosh of North Attleboro, MA; Patricia Kettell of North Attleboro, MA and the late Linda Davis. In addition, she leaves her many friends at the Plainville Senior Center and The Branches of North Attleboro.
Visitation will be private.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Transfiguration of the Lord Parish at St. Mark, Stanley Street, North Attleboro, MA on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 11:00 am, followed by a graveside service at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Attleboro Falls, MA.
