Julia Rebecca Cekala, 9, of Fales Road, North Attleboro, died on Friday, May 23, 2003 at the Children?s Hospital in Boston where she had been a patient since October. Born in Attleboro, MA on April 26, 1994, she was a daughter of Walter and Lynda P. (Vandusen) Cekala of North Attleboro. She was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro and was a second grade student at the Community School, North Attleboro. She was a member of the Girl Scouts, Troop #114, North Attleboro. In addition to her parents, she leaves three brothers: Christopher W. Cekala, Alexander W. Cekala and Nicholas J. Cekala all at home in North Attleboro; her maternal grandparents: Harold J. and Claudia P. (Foote) Vandusen of Tiverton, RI, formerly of North Attleboro; her paternal grandparents: Chester and Eileen R. (Polefka) Cekala of North Attleboro; an aunt, an uncle and cousins. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Service of the Angels on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at 1:00 PM in the ?Commonwealth Chapel? of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Mary Robinson, chaplain at the Children?s Hospital, Boston, officiating. Burial will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 from 11:00 ? 1:00 prior to the funeral service. Supervised children?s room available during visitation and the funeral service.
