Judith Ann Michel

Judith Ann (Destremps) Michel, 57, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. She was the beloved wife of Claude Dominque Michel, to whom she was married on May 3, 1979 in Fall River.Born on September 20, 1960 in Fall River, she was the daughter of Evelyn R. (Mello) Destremps of Fall River and the late Paul R. Destremps.A lifelong resident of Fall River where she was a member of Good Shepherd Church, Judith worked for several years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at St. Elizabeth Manor in Bristol, RI, before retiring.She was a warm and caring woman who cherished being with her family and her treasured grandchildren. Judith enjoyed sewing and making jewelry, cooking and making people laugh. She also had a special place in her heart for her late cat, "Monte".In addition to her husband, Claude, she leaves her loving children: Kelly L. Michel and her companion, Damien Marcellino; Tammy L. Michel and her companion, Isaac DeSousa; and Matthew J. Michel and his wife, Melissa (Rego) Michel, all of Fall River, MA. She was the adoring grandmother of Wyatt M. Michel, Waylon M. Michel, and Jordan Rego. Judith was the sister of Roy R. Destremps of Taunton, MA; Michael G. Destremps of Somerset, MA; and the late Paul J. Destremps, and leaves several nieces and nephews.A Memorial Service for Judith will be held at Good Shepherd Church in Fall River, MA, at 10:00 AM on January 21, 2018. Burial will be private.
