Judith M. C. Courchesne,80, of Attleboro, MA passed away on April 1, 2022, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Judy fought a brave and courageous two-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was the wife of 60 years of Gerald "Jerry" A. Courchesne.
Born in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Rudolphe LaCasse and the late Josephine (Sequin) Woodward.
In addition to her husband, Jerry, she is survived by two children: John A. Courchesne and his fiancé, Claire Beaulieu, of Falmouth, MA and Charlene A. Greco and her husband, Jeff Greco, of Attleboro, MA.
She was the grandmother to Alex Krawchuk and his partner, Ashley Gregoire, and her daughter, Caydance of Taunton, MA; Andrea Courchesne of Mansfield, MA; Courtney (Krawchuk) Schweikart and her husband, Eric Schweikart, of Attleboro, MA; Kristen (Greco) Mendelson and her husband, Jordan Mendelson, of Salem, NH and Jessica Greco of Attleboro, MA.
Great grandmother to Eloise and Willow Mendelson and Logan Schweikart.
She was sister to Gertrude Matha, Frank Plante, Neil "Dick" Plante and Sheila Ream. She was predeceased by sisters: Yvonne Leach and Louise Burt.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Judy was an avid reader, had a love for travel and enjoyed her relaxing afternoons in her "little house". She also enjoyed watching and feeding the wildlife in her yard, yearly summer camping in her own tent and making her famous homemade peanut brittle to give to family and friends. Judy lived her life with beauty, grace, and an abundance of love.
Visitation and services will be private.
