Judite Gabriel

Judite Moreira Gabriel, 94, of North Attleboro, MA passed away in the presence of her loving family on October 27, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Antonio F. Gabriel to whom she was married in 1952 and who died on December 19, 2010.

Born in Melo, Portugal on November 16, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Silvester Moreira and the late Maria Do Carmo (Alves) Moreira. She immigrated to the United States in 1970 and settled in Woonsocket, RI where she resided until 1998 when she moved to North Attleboro, MA.

Mrs. Gabriel was employed as a seamstress for Woonsocket Dress and later as a mold operator for Electronic Molding Corp prior to her retirement in 1995.

She was a communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mary, North Attleboro, MA.

Her favorite pastime was bowling and creating lifelong memories with her family to cherish.

Mrs. Gabriel leaves her children: Jose Gabriel and his wife, Jessica (McNulty) Gabriel, of North Attleboro, MA and their children: Jillian Gabriel and Felicia Gabriel. Isabel (Gabriel) Valente and her husband, Dionisio Valente, of North Attleboro, MA and their son: Daniel Valente and his wife Gabrielle (Terry) Valente of Manchester, CT and two great grandchildren: Salvador and Sebastian Valente.

She was the sister of the late Jose Moreira and his late wife, Amelia Moreira; the late Antonio Moreira and his late wife, Isabel Moreira; the late Manuel Moreira and his wife, LaSalete Moreira; the late Delfin Moreira and his late wife, Rosa Moreira and living siblings: Artur Moreira and his wife, Dilar Moreira, Emilia (Moreira) Almeida and her husband, Joseph C. Almeida and Alfredo Moreira and his wife, Gloria Moreira. She was the aunt of three generations of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 8:00 am until 9:30 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mary, Park Street, North Attleboro, MA.

Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA.
