Joyce Lorraine O'Rourke

Joyce Lorraine (DiPietro) O'Rourke passed away peacefully at her home in North Attleboro, MA on Saturday, April 4, 2020 with her family by her side.
Born on June19, 1943 in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Frank G. DiPietro and the late Florence Marie (Green) DiPietro.
Raised and educated in the Hyde Park section of Boston, Joyce resided in Mansfield, MA for many years before most recently living in North Attleboro for the last 29 years.
She worked for several years as a Sales Coordinator for Robert Allen in Mansfield before retiring from Sleepy's in 2012.
An ardent Red Sox fan, the center of Joyce's world was unquestionably her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joyce was the loving mother of John Kevin O'Rourke and his wife, Shelley O'Rourke, of Westboro, MA; Kevin Patrick O'Rourke of Bellingham, MA; and Pamela Jean Heatherton and her husband, John Heatherton of Rumford, RI. She was the proud grandmother of Patrick O'Rourke and his wife, Brooke O'Rourke; Shane O'Rourke and his companion, Ali Vallier; Kane O'Rourke; Keith Armstrong; Ryan Heatherton; and Emma Heatherton; and the adoring great-grandmother of Landen O'Rourke, Rory O'Rourke and Caleb Armstrong, and looking forward to the birth of two additional great-grandchildren. Joyce was the sister of Christine Harhen and her husband, Thomas Harhen, of Bridgewater, MA, and the late Frank DiPietro and Gus Alberti. She leaves her extended family and many dear friends.
