Joyce Thompson Newcome

Joyce (Thompson) Newcome, 70, of Fall River, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Kimwell Healthcare in Fall River.  She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick David Newcome, to whom she was married on April 23, 1994 and who passed away on May 27, 2007.
Born on August 27, 1948 in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late George and Agnes (Perry) Thompson.
A lifelong resident of Fall River, Joyce was a graduate of Henry Ford High School.  She continued her education at Bristol Community College and Fisher Jr. College. She worked for many years as a Patient Care Assistant for the Cerebral Palsy Association of Massachusetts.
A woman of faith and devotion, she was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Fall River.  Joyce enjoyed sewing and generously volunteered her time and efforts as a Hospice Worker for many years.
Joyce was the loving mother of the late Dawn Sokolski.
All services will be private.
