Joseph "Joe" Andrew Scallon, 47, of South Attleboro, Massachusetts; formerly of North Attleboro, MA passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 unexpectedly at his home in South Attleboro, Massachusetts.
Born in Waterville, Maine on March 17, 1976, he was the son of Marilyn Marie (Holmes) Scallon, of Norton, Massachusetts and the late Leo Andrew Scallon Jr.
Joe was a graduate of North Attleboro High School - Class of 1995. He furthered his education by attending Bridgewater State College where he graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
He was an active communicant with his dad, Leo, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro, where everyone knew the inseparable duo. Joe enjoyed spending time with his dad, especially on the green playing a round or two of golf when the season allowed it.
In his down time, Joe would play the latest video games, which became one of his favorite hobbies. He found music to be a wonderful companion in his everyday life. He was always listening to something and by having an eclectic taste in music, Joe seemed to know the lyrics to every song that's out there. An incredible talent he was well known for and amazed his friends and family with whenever possible.
Joe had a lot of love for the animals in his life. Nothing compared to his bond with the family pets. He had also great love for his nieces and nephews.
Left to mourn his loss is his mother: Marilyn Marie (Holmes) Scallon, of Norton, Massachusetts; his brother: Jonathan Edward Scallon, his wife, Mary and 8 kids from New York, and his sister: Elizabeth Ann Scallon, of Taunton, Massachusetts.
He is preceded in death by his father: Leo Andrew Scallon Jr.; his brother: Thomas Michael Scallon and his niece Amelia N. Scallon.
