Joseph Edgar Poulin

Joseph Edgar Poulin, 76, of Milford, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Genesis Milford Center in Milford.
Born on July 30, 1943 in Central Falls, RI, he was the son of the late Edgar L. Poulin and the late Edna K. (Grudzien) Poulin.
Raised and educated in Central Falls, he was a graduate of Central Falls High School. Joseph worked for many years as the Plant Manager of Day-O-Lite Manufacturing in Warwick, RI, before retiring. He was for many years a self-employed tax-preparer, as well.
A resident of Milford for the past five years, Joseph previously lived in Attleboro, MA for fifty years.
A warm, kind, outgoing and giving man, he was a former coach for the South Attleboro White Hawks football League, as well as for boys and girls softball and basketball teams in the area. Joseph was one of the founders of both the South Attleboro Girls Recreation Association (S.A.G.R.A.) and South Attleboro Boys Recreation Association (S.A.B.R.A.). He loved music, especially the "oldies", and animals of most every kind.
He was the loving father of Donna M. Woodworth and her husband, Allan Woodworth, of South Attleboro, MA; Michael J. Poulin of South Attleboro, MA; Michelle M. Poulin and her wife, Paula J. (Perry) Poulin, of Pawtucket, RI; and the late Dennis J. Poulin who passed away in 1972. Joseph was the proud and adoring grandfather of five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and was looking forward to the birth of his eighth great-grandchild. He was the brother of Edna S. Poulin of Central Falls, RI, and leaves his extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation has respectfully been omitted.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held in St. John's Cemetery, Attleboro, at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joseph to the Friends of the Attleboro Animal Shelter, 27 Pond St. N., Attleboro, MA 02703.
