Joseph ?Joey? Ormond, III, 44, of Baker Street, Bristol, Rhode Island, died on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on October 20, 1962, he was a son of Joseph Ormond, Jr. of West Bridgewater, Massachusetts and Beverly (Hyder) Cabral of Bristol, Rhode Island. Mr. Ormond was raised and educated in Bristol where he remained a lifelong resident. He was employed as a maintenance worker for various shipyards in the Bristol-Warren area for many years until becoming disabled. Mr. Ormond served his country as a member of the Rhode Island National Guard -C-Battery 1-103rd FA unit in Bristol. His most treasured times were those spent creating memories with his family. In addition to his parents, he leaves five children: Brian Martin of Bristol; Nathan Ormond, Jerard Ormond, Jocelyn Ormond and Brittany Ormond all of Bristol; three sisters: Joanne Adamson of Warren, Rhode Island; Barbara Jean Wordall of Bristol and Denise Ormond of Warren, Rhode Island; two granddaughters and expecting his third grandchild and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
