Joseph "Joe" G. Polion, 46, of Foxboro, MA, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Seasons Hospice Inpatient Center in Milton, MA. Born on September 3, 1970 in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of Sandra M. Grosse of Central Falls, RI, and Ronald F. Polion, Sr. Joe was a graduate of William M. Davies, Jr. Career and Technical High School in Lincoln, RI, where he developed a passion for culinary arts. He adored cooking for friends and family - a favorite dish to make was Veal Parmesan. A resident of Foxboro, MA for the past four years, Joe had a genuine passion for life: for all sports, particularly the New England Patriots, Joe Montana, and collecting sports cards. He treasured all animals, especially dogs and his sister-in-law Leah's Mastiff "Winston" and her Great Dane "Bella" whom he visited just for the opportunity to walk them. In his backyard, Joe fed carrots to wild rabbits who approached without fear. He even made special trips to the grocery store to buy carrots. Paramount in Joe's life was his cherished family. He called his loving mother every night. He was known for always being there when you needed him, be it to help move furniture or just someone to listen. His selflessness was demonstrated during his rapidly declining health when he expressed worry that he was deserting his loved ones. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter. He was the loving brother of Ronald F. Polion, Jr. and Ron's fiancée, Leah A. Corrigan, of Attleboro, MA; and Serena M. Polion of Georgia. He leaves several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, along with his extended family at East Coast Limousine Services Inc.ALWAYS LOVED, NEVER FORGOTTEN, FOREVER MISSED.Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joe to Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, 275 Grove Street, Suite 3-102, Newton, MA 02466.For additional information or to send the family a written expression of sympathy, please visit an online guest book at
