Joseph F. Delsignore, Jr.

Joseph F. DelSignore, Jr., 81, of Plainville, MA passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2024 upon arrival to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA.  He was the beloved husband of the late Mary "Marylou" L. (Bowes) DelSignore to whom he was married on August 31, 1963 and who died on March 16, 2016.
Born in Boston, MA on May 5, 1942, he was a son of the late Joseph F. DelSignore, Sr. and the late Florence (Moranville) DelSignore.  Raised and educated in Boston, he was a 1960 graduate of Boston College High School and earned his masters degree in accounting from Bentley College.
Although not a veteran himself, he was a patriotic and proud American.
Mr. DelSignore was the founder and owner of Small Business Consultants in Plainville, MA for many years and worked until his last day.  He was a resident of Plainville since 1963.
In earlier years, he was a member of the former Plainville Jaycees and as a sports enthusiast was a coach for many of his children's sporting teams and was the founder of the New England Mustangs.
Golfing was a favorite pastime especially at Wading River in Norton, MA with his good friends and was the co-host of the former Joe and Joe radio show on 1170 AM and on local cable television.
He leaves his beloved children: Elizabeth L. "Betty" Anderson and her husband, Steven E. Anderson, of Plainville, MA and Joseph John DelSignore and his wife, the late Christine Ricci, of Plainville, MA; four grandchildren: Felicia E. Anderson, Eric B. Anderson, Cassandra C. DelSignore and Camron J. DelSignore;  two great grandchildren: Jaelyn Cook DelSignore and Caleb Joseph Anderson; his sister: Nancy Manning of Braintree, MA; Many nieces and nephews and his beloved feline companion, "Booty".
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, North Attleboro, MA.
