John S. Zawislak, 68, formerly of Norton and North Attleboro, MA, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in Ocoee, FL. He was born in Elizabeth, NJ in October 2, 1947. John is survived by his companion, Carol Lou Allen; his children: Carrie (Zawislak) Kelley and her husband, Edward "Ted" Kelley, of Foxboro, MA; John F. "Jay" Zawislak and his wife, Heide Agas, of Teaneck, NJ; and Amy (Zawislak) Arnold her husband, Jonathan Arnold, of North Attleboro, MA; as well as his beloved grandchildren: Ryan, Molly, Meghan, Tyler, Myles, and Ian. He is also survived by his siblings: Theodore Zawislak and his wife, Carol Zawislak, of Mountainside, NJ; Valerie (Zawislak) Kindel and her husband, Roger Kindel, of Dover, DE; Thomas Zawislak and his wife, Priscilla Zawislak, of Landenberg, PA; and Nancy (Zawislak) Robinson and her husband Kevin Robinson, of Dover, DE. John was retired from the semi-conductor industry. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Navy Band. John enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, visiting family, being a freelance musician, and full-time "RV'ing" with his companion, Carol. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
