John Lawrence White, 70, of Attleboro, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Wingate of Norton in Norton, MA. He was the beloved husband of Faith R. (Wolff) White, to whom he was married for forty years.Born on November 24, 1946 in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Edward Patrick White and Joyce (Weston) White. A graduate of Sharon High School, Class of 1964, John worked for twenty years in the Shipping and Receiving Department for Plymouth Rubber Company in Canton, MA, W.R. Grace Company in Canton, MA, and at Garelick Farms in Franklin, MA. He also worked as a Security Guard for Securitas Security Company before fully retiring from work in 2011. A resident of Attleboro for the past forty years, he previously lived in Canton and Sharon, MA. John was an avid reader and sports fan who also enjoyed the simple pleasure of watching television. He loved the ocean and visits by ferry to Martha's Vineyard. More than anything, he loved being with his wife and family and spending time with his late cats "Sadie" and "Tabitha".In addition to his wife, John leaves his cherished daughter, Michelle Lisa White of Attleboro, MA. He was the brother of the late Ronald Paul White and his wife, Julie Ann (Diamond) White, and leaves his aunt and godmother, Elizabeth "Betty" Martin of Ashland, MA; his nephews, Matthew White, Justin Wolff, Joshua Wolff, and Joseph Wolff; and his niece, Chelsea White; and his brothers-in-law: Jeffrey Wolff and his wife, Jane Wolff; and Marshall Wolff.
