John "Jack" Taylor Wilmarth, of Peck Street, Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA on March 29, 2023.
Born in Attleboro, MA on May 8, 1955, he was a son of the late Charles W. Wilmarth, Sr. and the late Barbara D. (Kenerson) Wilmarth.
He was a graduate of Attleboro High School and later earned an associate's degree in law enforcement from Dean Junior College. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Jack's entire professional career was in law enforcement, having started with border control in California and later serving as a customs officer investigator for the U.S. Government for ten years prior to his retirement at the age of 58.
While growing up, he and his family were active members of Centenary United Methodist Church, Attleboro. The Wilmarth family enjoyed many treasured years at their home on Prudence Island.
He was the husband of Michelle M. (Carigan) Wilmarth. In addition, he leaves his brother: Charles W. Wilmarth, Jr. of West Warwick, Rhode Island, a niece, two nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Barbara A. Potter.
