John "Jack" Stephen Coughlin, Jr.

John "Jack" S. Coughlin, Jr., age 62, of North Attleboro, MA,  a native of Somerville, MA, raised in Marlborough, MA, went to his Heavenly Home on December 29, 2022.  Jack was the son of John S. Coughlin Sr. and the late Jane Rose Dunn. He was pre-deceased by his stepmother Linda K. (Jarrett) Coughlin. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Jodie Buchanan Coughlin, daughter Sarah Laudone and her husband Brian Laudone of Cumberland, RI, son Sean Coughlin of Cumberland, RI, daughter Erin Pesavento and husband Eric Pesavento of New Paltz, NY and grandson Luke Pesavento. Jack also leaves behind his sister Annamarie O'Donnell and her husband Robert O'Donnell of Falmouth, MA his brother Bruce Coughlin and wife Cherie Coughlin of Hingham, MA and many nieces and nephews.
Jack lived a fulfilling life and will be fondly remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know him. Jack was a proud alum of St John's High School of Shrewsbury where he was a coxswain for the crew team. Jack continued his education at Franklin Pierce University and earned a Masters Degree from Lesley University in Accounting and Management. Jack enjoyed working in the city of Boston and had a successful career as a corporate controller.
As Jack's family grew, he immersed himself in youth sports supporting his children as both a fan and a coach. In addition to being an invested father and husband, Jack was passionate about cheering on the Patriots as a lifelong fan and season ticket holder. Jack enjoyed listening to 70's Rock and Roll, vacationing on Cape Cod, and traveling to Ireland. What Jack truly loved most of all was spending time with his family and those closest to him.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, between 4:00pm and 7:00pm at the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A Funeral and Memorial Service will be held on Thursday January 5, 2023, at 10:00 am, at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adams Street, Dorchester, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The Jimmy Fund of Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
