John Frederick McQuillan, 76, of Attleboro, MA passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on February 19, 1946, he was a son of the late Frederick L. McQuillan and the late Marion L. (Walberg) McQuillan. Raised and educated in the City of Pawtucket, Mr. McQuillan was a 1964 graduate of Pawtucket West High School. He resided in the City of Attleboro for more than 30 years moving to the community from Burrillville, Rhode Island.
He served with the United States Army from 1967 - 1969 during the Vietnam War era and achieving the rank of E-4.
For more than 38 years, Mr. McQuillan worked in the defense industry having been employed by the Raytheon Company as an electrical engineer.
He leaves members of the Hallstrom family and the Tammany family.
Visitation has been respectfully omitted.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a prayer service with military honors on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 11:15 a.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home.
