John J. Garito

John J. Garito, Sr., 73, of Keenan Road, North Attleboro, died on Friday, September 12, 2003 at the Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick, Rhode Island. Born in Brooklyn, New York on November 13, 1929 he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Margaret (Carnaggio) Garito. He lived in North Attleboro since 1983 having moved to Massachusetts from Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York. He was employed as a roofer and from 1978 ? 1995, Mr. Garito was the owner and operator of Application Inspector Services Corporation ? A.I.S. of North Attleboro. Mr. Garito was an avid golfer and enjoyed wood carving having specialized in designing and carving miniature bird houses. He leaves four daughters: Margaret Ann Miragni of Brooklyn, NY; Danielle Garito of Pawtucket, RI; Nicole Plante of Pawtucket, RI and Heidi Garito of Pawtucket, RI; four sons: Joseph Garito of Brooklyn, NY; Frank Garito of Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York; John R. Garito, Jr. of Keansburg, New Jersey and Christopher Garito in California; a sister: Nan Puca of Brooklyn, NY; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Angelo, Joseph and Vincent Garito. At his request, all funeral services will be private. Burial will be private. Visitation has been respectfully omitted.
