John Francis Dembski

John Francis Dembski, 82, of Attleboro, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth Mary (Orzechowski) Dembski.Born on January 6, 1934, he was a son of the late John T. Dembski and the late Julia R. (Bogusz) Dembski.John graduated from Chicopee High School and later the Hampden College of Pharmacy in 1955. He and his wife proudly owned and ran Parkside Pharmacy in West Springfield for over thirty years. He was also a Pharmacist at an area Stop and Shop and at CVS Pharmacies before retiring.A resident of Attleboro, MA for the past twelve years, he previously resided in West Springfield, MA.John genuinely enjoyed his work as a Pharmacist, and liked collecting Lionel trains and Die-cast cars. He was an avid reader of train and automobile magazines. He loved his cats, cars, watching the birds and eating good food. Unquestionably, John was a loving and devoted husband to his dear late wife.He is survived by his four cherished children: Lisa (Dembski) Anderson and her husband, Brian Anderson, of Westfield, MA; John Anthony Dembski of Long Beach, CA; Robert F. Dembski of Attleboro, MA; and Laura Dembski and her husband, Greg Mahoney, of Middleboro, MA. He leaves six treasured grandchildren: Michael, Christopher, Clayton, Larry, Ruth and Helen; and his feline companion and most precious possession Sugar, "Sigusz". Visitation has respectfully been omitted.Funeral and burial services will be privately held.
