John Aho Jr., 77, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro following a brief illness.
Born on November 24, 1942 in New York, New York, he was a son of the late John Aho Sr. and the late Katheryn (Trump) Aho.
Mr. Aho received an Associate degree from Johnson & Wales University. He was employed as a salesperson in retail for many years, having been employed at Norm's Emporium and Sillman's Shoe Store prior to his retirement.
John loved to travel to such places as Hawaii, Acapulco, California, Puerto Rico and Florida.
He resided in Attleboro for more than thirty years, having previously resided in Providence, RI and Coventry, RI. His favorite pastime was cooking, and he treasured the times spent at Plainridge Park Casino and Twin River Casino, as well as creating arts and crafts. He was a dedicated member of "P.E.A.L." Club in Attleboro - People Enjoying Active Living.
He leaves three daughters: Christine A. Caprarelli, Tonia L. Aho and Lori A. Aho, all of Cranston, RI; two grandchildren: Brittany Machado and Zachary Love, both of Cranston, RI; a great grandson: Elijah Love of Cranston, RI; two sisters: Catherine Heeks and Joan McCarthy, both of Coventry, RI, and several nieces, nephews, his extended family members and many friends.
A Private Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
