Joseph R. Borrelli, “Joe,” 85, and Carol A. (Burke) Borrelli, 81, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 - Joseph at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro and Carol at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. They were beloved husband and wife who were married for 63 years.

Both were born in the Bronx, NY. Joseph was the son of the late Anthony and Santina (Miele) Borrelli. Carol was the daughter of the late Raymond and Gloria (Graff) Burke.

Family was everything to Joe and Carol. They adored their grandchildren, and they treasured their great grandchildren. Both were avid readers, always on a quest to learn something new. They enjoyed spending time outside in their flower and vegetable gardens as well. Carol was fond of the beach, while Joe found peace in the mountains. They enjoyed playing golf, and were long time members of Franklin Country Club. They played numerous golf courses throughout northern New England, with Killington Country Club being Joe’s favorite. Joe had a 30 year career with John Hancock retiring as a district manager at the age of 55. After which he assisted his son Michael serving as the consigliere for Metan Marine, Inc.
Joe and Carol left this world the same way they walked it... Together.

They are survived by their loving children, Anthony and Karen Borrelli of Kingston, MA, Theresa-Ann DiMascio and James Loughlin of Wrentham, MA, Michael and Nora Dziegielewski-Borrelli of Forestdale, MA. They are also survived by their cherished grandchildren: Lauren and Michael Lyons and their children, Ava and Dillon; Adam Borrelli; Kristina Borrelli and Colin Roberts and their children, Kaley and Ariana; Nicole Santina Borrelli; Deanna Borrelli and Billy Hibbard; Julie-Anne Borrelli; Marisa Borrelli; Joseph R. Borrelli II; Paul and Jayme DiMascio and their children, Jackson and Oliver; Samantha Borrelli-Foster and Jessie Foster and their children, Elijah and Azariah; Joseph DiMascio and Loren Weyland. They leave behind their sweet fur baby, Gracie, who will forever be loved and cared for by their family.

Carol was the devoted sister of Gloria Jean and Phil Grasso, Susan Burke, Lynne Burke, and Raymond and Jeannette Burke. Joseph was the devoted brother of Linda M. Borrelli.

Relatives and friends are warmly welcomed to attend visitation for both Carol and Joe on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home at 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

Joe and Carol’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 17th at 11:00 am at St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church at 105 Stanley Street, North Attleboro, MA.

Carol and Joe’s burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery in North Attleboro, MA.
