Joseph Edward Beauregard Jr, 56, of North Attleboro, MA passed away on Sunday, August 7th, 2022, following a brief illness.
Born in Norwood, MA on April 2, 1966, he was the only child of Patricia (Brown) Beauregard of North Attleboro, MA, and the late Joseph Edward Beauregard Sr.
He was raised and educated in North Attleboro. He spent many years active in the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed traveling with the scouts and spending summers at camp Yawgoo in Hopkinton, RI, developing his love for nature, animals, and the outdoors. He eventually earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
Joe was employed as a forklift technician for M&G Materials Handling in East Providence, RI for 25 years.
He was an avid collector of M&M candy memorabilia. He enjoyed game nights, often playing strategy, tabletop, and video games with friends. He enjoyed reading from a young age, particularly history, Sci-fi, and fantasy. He loved a variety of music, and he loved it loud. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he leaves three children: Eden M. Beauregard of North Attleboro, MA; Corey J. Beauregard, his wife Amanda (McCue) Beauregard, of Providence RI, and Samantha L. Beauregard of North Attleboro, MA. Four grandchildren: Thomas W. Johnson, Joshua A. Kannair Jr., Matthew M. Paige, and Alani S. Kannair; his former spouse: Brenda L. (Shepardson) Chubbuck, of Attleboro, MA, extended family, and many dear friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, August 18th, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Located at 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
The Funeral and Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel".
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Joseph's family respectfully requests memorial donations in his memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in memory and honor of his family members.
