JoAnn Rimmer, 72, of East Providence, RI, formerly of Florida, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI.
Born on December 6, 1947 in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Rafaela Sweet.
JoAnn worked for the IRS and the Coca-Cola Company before becoming a paralegal and legal secretary. She worked for various law firms over the years before her retirement. JoAnn enjoyed many trips to Disney World with her beloved son. She was an avid reader, movie buff and especially enjoyed time with her family. JoAnn was an animal lover and held a special place in her heart for her cat "Georgie" and her dog "Harpo."
JoAnn was the loving mother of Jonathan Reisler and his wife Paula Reisler of North Attleboro, MA. She was the adoring grandmother of Audrey Reisler and Oliver Reisler both of North Attleboro, MA. JoAnn also leaves her former husband and dear friend Barry Reisler of East Providence, RI. She was the sister of the late Freddie Guzman.
All services for JoAnn have been respectfully omitted at the request of her family.
