Joanna "Moon Beam" (LeBlanc) Cherry, 57, of Plainville, MA passed away on November 25, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Born in Attleboro, MA on September 17, 1965, she was a daughter of the late Ralph R. LeBlanc and the late Madeline L. (Cheney) LeBlanc. She was raised and educated in Plainville and was a 1983 graduate of King Phillip Regional High School.Ms. Cherry was employed as a billing clerk for Chainstore Maintenance in Attleboro.As a true patriot and daughter of a veteran, she was a member of the Plainville American Legion.She loved listening to music of the 1950's through the 1970's and loved playing the video game, "Animal Crossing".Among those left to cherish her memory are her son: Andrew Christopher Lafayette Cherry of Central Falls, Rhode Island; a sister: Ruthann LeBlanc-Wilshire in England and a longtime friend: David R. Beksha of Attleboro, MA and three nieces and nephews.Services will be conducted privately.Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, North Attleboro, MA.If desired, memorial donations in her name may be made to The Jimmy Fund of Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
