Jim Gagliard

September 14, 1962 — February 12, 2020

Jim Gagliard, 57, of Wrentham, MA, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI.  He was the beloved husband of Donna Jean (Padelford) Gagliard, whom he married on November 16, 1991.
Born on September 14, 1962 in Dedham, MA, he was the son of the late Paul J. Gagliard and the late Beverly (Hume) Gagliard-Bent.
Jim attended King Philip High School and proudly and honorably served out country in the United States Navy.  He worked for many years in the field of environmental services for Woodard & Curran, Inc. in Dedham, MA.
A resident of Wrentham since 1996, he previously lived in Plainville and North Attleboro, MA.
Jim was a true outdoorsman and sportsman, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, archery, camping. He was a member of the Wrentham Sportsmen's Association for many years.
In addition to his wife, Donna, he leaves his loving children: Jennifer M. Salzillo of Phoenix, AZ; Scott M. Brown of Fall River, MA; and Joseph P. Gagliard of Wrentham, MA.  He was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren, and the brother of Thomas P. Gagliard of Lowell, MA; Donna M. Bogosh of Attleboro, MA; and Debbie A. Johnson and her husband, Dean, of Blackstone, MA.  He leaves several nieces and nephews, his extended family, and many dear friends.
Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Jim by gathering for a Visitation with Veteran's Honors on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, immediately followed by Military Honors.
The family will extend an invitation to return to the Wrentham Sportsmen's Association, 7 Madison Street, Plainville, Massachusetts for a time of continued fellowship and refreshment.
Burial services will be privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jim to the Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary, 266 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
