Jigishaben Patel

Jigishaben (Patel) Patel, 59, of Fairhaven, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of Nandubhai Patel.
Born on September 14, 1959 in India, she was the loving daughter of Amrutbhai Patel and Kamlaben Patel.
Raised and educated in India, Jigishaben worked for many years as a cashier at Mendoza's Liquors in Dighton, MA, and as a Manager at Bonville's Market Liquor in Acushnet, MA.
In addition to her dearest husband and parents, she leaves her loving children: Pina Patel of Fairhaven; Ghanshyam Patel of Fairhaven; Kumud Patel of India; and Ketana Patel of India.  She was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren, and leaves five sisters and two brothers both in the United States and in India.  Jigishaben is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, her extended family, many dear friends, and her co-workers.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation and Hindu Ritual Service on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, followed by a Traditional Hindu Service and Cremation Service at 12:30 p.m. at Woodlawn North Purchase Crematory, Attleboro, MA.
