Jenny L. Rainville (Johnson) 73 of Attleboro, MA., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 28, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Rainville. They were happily married for 56 years.
Born in Attleboro, MA; on January 26, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ruth (Fyfe) Johnson.
Jenny was a graduate of Attleboro High School. She was a home maker while her children were young and then transitioned into the workplace as a medical secretary. She then moved to work in retail and during the late 1980’s opened her own business, The Zoo and later in the 2000’s Zoolittle. She spent time in between as a Regional Manager for the Salvation Army. Both the workplace and her hobbies were an outlet for her creativity. Although accomplished, she was humble Jenny demonstrated a quiet strength, but her actions and humor spoke loudly. She was a consistent source of comfort and encouragement to those she met.
Jenny was the cornerstone of her family, both immediate and extended. Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving daughters, Crystal Rainville-Ahmed and her husband Diar Ahmed of Walpole, MA., Shelley Fisher and her husband Jeff of Attleboro, MA., and Carrie Rainville-Collins and her husband Kevin Collins of Sharon, MA. She is also survived by her devoted siblings, Wayne Johnson and his wife Patricia of Florida, Doug Johnson and his wife Beth of Attleboro and Lisa Masterson of Attleboro; a sister in-law, Linda Johnson of Winthrop, MA., dear grandchildren, Lily, Miles, August, Jada, Calvin, Ella, Nina, and Marty; a great-grandson, Walker; a nephew Preston, a niece Ruby, and many more nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Danny Johnson.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 5:30 pm followed by words of remembrance at 5:30 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
