Jeannette L. (McConnell) Rodenbaugh, 89, of Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late William "Hoss" Rodenbaugh.Born on July 9, 1926 in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Hugh McConnell and the late Susan (Smith) McConnell.A graduate of Stroudsburg (PA) High School, Class of 1945, she worked for more than twenty-two years at Texas Instruments before retiring.Jeannette enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Pennsylvania. The center of her world was her family, and Jeannette most especially valued time spent with her children and their expansive families.She is survived by her dear children: Gary H. Rodenbaugh of Pawtucket, RI; Glenn H. Rodenbaugh of Lincoln, RI; Michael D. Rodenbaugh of Woonsocket, RI; and Patricia A. (Rodenbaugh) Hindle of North Attleboro, MA. She leaves ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren, all of whom she treasured.Jeannette was the sister of the late Robert McConnell, the late John McConnell, and the late Grace (McConnell) Slutter; and the beloved grandmother of the late Justin W. Hindle.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service immediately following visitation on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Children's room available during visitation and funeral services. Those in need of transportation to visitation may simply call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for complimentary local transportation.
