Jeannette F. Macpherson

March 6, 1927 — July 20, 2021

Jeannette F. (Meunier) MacPherson, 94, of Wilmington, MA, formerly of Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Advinia Care Wilmington, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Edward W. MacPherson (December 1, 2011).
Jeannette was born in North Attleboro, MA, on March 6, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Theodore L. and Florence (Alix) Meunier.  She was the only girl in her family of five.  She was predeceased by her four brothers and her sister-in-law: Leo Meunier, Albert and Theresa Meunier, Emil Meunier and Norman Meunier.
Jeannette was employed as an accounting clerk for many years with Texas Instruments. It is here where she met the love of her life, Eddie, while attending a work outing.  After leaving Texas Instruments, she also worked at a local bank and Sturdy Hospital, until she retired. She enjoyed volunteering her time at the Attleboro Polling stations each year.
Jeannette's greatest joy in life was her family. She enjoyed summers on Webster Lake with Eddie and her sons and was even an avid water-skier. Her family recalls with fondness her love for getting to a slot machine and playing her luck. She often won.  Jeannette loved her weekend shopping adventures with her sister-in-law Barbara.  They shared an incredible bond and had lots of fun together. Perhaps her greatest joy was being a Grandma.  She cherished her time with them and was even able to attend their sporting events in person after moving to Wilmington.
Left to mourn her loss are her two sons: Edward P. MacPherson and his wife, Renee (Kuffrey) MacPherson, of Attleboro, MA; and David T. MacPherson and his wife, Michele (McGinness) MacPherson, and their children, Kaytlyn, Sydney and Ryan MacPherson, of Wilmington, MA; her sisters-in-law: Lea Meunier of North Attleboro, MA, and Barbara Meunier of New Mexico; several nieces, nephews and their families, as well as extended family members, neighbors and very dear friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, 71 Linden Street, Attleboro, MA on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.  The family will greet attendees from 9:45 a.m. until the commencement of Mass at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, West Street, Attleboro, MA.
