Jeannette Louise (Dargis) Gebski

Jeannette Louise (Dargis) Gebski, 88, of North Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Saturday, September 17, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of the late Lester H. Gebski to whom she was married on April 12, 1958, and who died in 2020.
Born in North Attleboro, MA on May 8, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Horace A. Dargis and the late Anna E. (Pontbriand) Dargis.  Raised and educated in North Attleboro, she remained a lifelong resident of the community.
She retired in 1996 after having worked as a bench worker for 15 years at the Motorola Corporation in Mansfield, MA.
Mrs. Gebski was a communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mark in the village of Attleboro Falls, MA.
She treasured times spent with her grandchildren, particularly during the holiday seasons.  Jeannette will be remembered for being a ferocious reader, enjoying going out to eat and in earlier years was an avid walker and swimmer.
Mrs. Gebski was the mother of Jayne A. Pierce and her husband, Charles A. Pierce, of Cumberland, RI.  She also leaves two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Private services will be held in the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Private burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, North Attleboro, MA.
