Jeanne Louise (Achin) Paquin passed away peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2022, after a brief illness.
The beloved wife of the late Richard Paquin, Jeanne was born on June 18, 1929, in North Attleboro, MA. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Isabelle (Precourt) Achin of North Attleboro.
While always calling the Attleboro area home, Jeanne has also lived in Northport, FL; Plymouth, MA; and Mooresville, NC.
After a career as a Shipping Agent with Teknis Instruments of Plainville, MA, Jeanne was able to enjoy over 20 years of retirement with her husband Richard before his passing in 2007.
Jeanne will be remembered for her warmth, her compassion, and her ability to find the best of any situation. Her optimism and enthusiasm were infectious, and any gathering or event was made brighter by her presence.
Jeanne was devoted to, and much loved by her extended family. She is survived by two of her three children: Richard Paquin Jr. and his wife Kathy Paquin of St, Petersburg, FL, and Kevin Paquin and his wife Karin Paquin of Marlborough, MA. Jeanne lost her daughter Gail Blais and Gail's husband Donald Blais of Mooresville NC in 2017 and 2011 respectively. She was the sister of the late Robert Achin of North Attleboro, MA, the late Donald Achin of North Attleboro, MA, the late Marie Christensen of Attleboro, MA, Irene LaMothe of North Attleboro, MA, Lucile Desilets of North Attleboro, MA, as well as the half-sister of Richard Achin of Plainville, MA, Raymond Achin of Marshfield, MA, Gerald Achin, and the late Albert Achin.
Additionally, Jeanne is survived by five grandchildren: Stephanie Paquin and her husband Michael Fleury of St, Petersburg, FL, Heather Paquin of St, Petersburg, FL, Elise Paquin of Philadelphia, PA, Donald Blais and his wife Tiffany Blais of Rehoboth, MA and James Blais of Attleboro, MA and four great grandchildren: Kaylee Keenan and her husband Patrick of Boston, MA, Jacob Blais of Attleboro, MA, Brent Roposo and Hadley Blais of Rehoboth, MA.
Visitation has respectfully been omitted. To celebrate Jeanne's life, a memorial service will be scheduled and communicated at a later date.
Burial services will be private at St. Mary's Cemetery, North Attleboro.
