Jeanne E. (Morriseau) Duphiney

Jeanne E. (Morriseau) Duphiney, 89, of Providence, RI, formerly of Plainville and North Attleboro, MA passed away on January 15, 2024, at HopeHealth Hospice Center in Providence, RI following a brief illness.  She was the wife of Nelson  F. Duphiney to whom she was married on March 14, 1975.
Born in Attleboro, MA on December 13, 1934,  she was a daughter of the late Frederick P. Morriseau and the late Eva R. (Dargis) Morriseau.
Jeanne was a devout catholic and attended church every Sunday and enjoyed baking, crocheting and knitting. She always had an afghan or baby outfit ready for family and friends.
She loved to garden and always had violets in the house and various flowers in her yard.
She loved her family and her dear friends but she really loved bowling. She was a member of the bowling league at North Bowl Lanes for many years always looking forward to seeing her teammates and coming home to announce her score, good or bad.
Jeanne enjoyed her daily walks with friends and getting together with her family at weddings, showers and cookouts. She attended just about every function through the years. She loved seeing everyone.
She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband of 49 years, she leaves her stepson: David Duphiney in South Carolina; three grandchildren: Nathan Duphiney, Sr. of North Attleboro;  Taylor Duphiney-Miles in North Carolina and Shaelyn Burns of North Attleboro; two great grandchildren: Scarlett and Nathan Duphiney, Jr.
She was the stepmother of the late Christopher Duphiney and sister of the late: Frederick, Robert and Raymond Morriseau.
In addition, she leaves a large extended family including 18 nieces and nephews: Donna Morriseau and Steve Holmes of Plymouth; Donald Morriseau of North Attleboro;Diane Parenteau of North Attleboro; David and Candy Morriseau of Norton, MA; Lois Philibert of North Attleboro; Peggy and Dean Robinson of Attleboro Falls; Kathy and Steve Grace of Pawtucket, RI; Lisa Bosh and Bill of North Attleboro; Jimmy Morriseau of Plainville; Joe and Maeghan Morriseau of Lakeland, Florida; Michael and Lisa Morriseau of Attleboro Falls; Denise and Tim McCretton of North Attleboro; Dennis Morriseau of North Attleboro and Mark and Angela Duphiney; Brian and Ashley Duphiney; Marie Williams; Robert Williams and Kerry Williams and 14 great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
She also leaves her husband's family: Catherine and Leo Albin of Warwick, RI; Elaine Duphiney of Providence, RI and Edward and Elizabeth Duphiney in Florida and the late Mary and Robert Duphiney Williams.
The family would like to thank The Highlands assisted living facility and Hope Health Hospice Care in Providence RI for their wonderful care.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on  Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish at St. Mark, Stanley Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery, Towne Street, Attleboro Falls, MA.
