Jeanne Florence Harnois

Jeanne Florence (Richard) Harnois, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on August 19, 2023, in her home on Lake Hiawatha, in Blackstone, MA. She was a beloved wife, mother, cherished friend, and a pillar of strength to those who knew her. Jeanne was predeceased by her loving husband, Armand.
Jeanne was born and raised in Boston, to Beatrice Sullivan and Joseph Edward Richard. Educated in Rhode Island schools, then settling in Pawtucket, RI to raise her sons. She met and married the love of her life in 1979, Armand Harnois, while both employed at Hasbro Corp.
Throughout her life, Jeanne made an indelible mark on the hearts of many. Her career as an accountant at Hasbro and her many hobbies brought her immense joy, especially when she was on the road with Armand antiquing, attending auctions, or just traveling together, and she shared that joy with those around her. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the many lives she touched.
She is survived by her loving family, including her sons, Dan Jones and his wife Ellen, Todd Jones and his wife Gwen, Norman Harnois and his wife Christine, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and her beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on November 11, 2023, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth, Attleboro. A social hour with light refreshments to immediately follow at Col. Blackinton Inn, 203 N. Main, Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made in Jeanne's memory may be made to American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
