March 25, 1954 — February 5, 2022

Jeanette Marie (Butler) Stefanik, 67, of Taunton, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA.
Born on March 25, 1954, in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late James Butler and the late Mary Constance (Dupont) Butler.
A lifelong resident of Taunton, Jeanette was a graduate of Taunton High School, Class of 1972.  She worked for more than twenty years as a press operator for Texas Instruments in Attleboro, MA, until her retirement at the time of its closing.
A warm, caring, and outgoing woman, the center of Jeanette's world truly was her family, with whom she simply loved spending time - particularly with her granddaughter, Zoe. She was a member of the Red Hat Club and the Rhode Island Chevy Owners Association and was a longtime fan of "General Hospital".  Jeanette loved to travel, and enjoyed cruises with her son, Paul. She always held a special place in her heart for her two cats: "Miracle" and "Leo".
Jeanette was the beloved mother of Paul James Stefanik and his wife, Nancy Lingelbach, of Taunton, MA, and the proud and adoring grandmother of Zoe K. Stefanik of Taunton.  She was the dear companion of Kevin Degnan of Pawtucket, RI, for many years. Jeanette was the loving sister of David Butler and his wife, Sandra, of Bedford, VA, and Elaine Rose of Taunton, MA, and was predeceased by her twin brother, Gerard Butler, and by her late brothers: Paul Butler and Anthony Butler. She leaves several nieces and nephews, her extended family, and many dear friends.
