Jeanette Angeline (Langlois) Maynard, 93, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth E. Maynard, to whom she was married on September 7, 1946.Born on November 5, 1924 in Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late Eugene P. and Emma R. (Cote) Langlois.A graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1942, she worked twenty seven years as a Software Technician for Texas Instruments, and later worked for many years in data entry for the Hockomock YMCA before retiring.A lifelong resident of the Hebronville section of Attleboro, she lived her whole life at her family's home on Knight Avenue. Jeanette was a member of St. Stephen's Church and later Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Seekonk, MA. An outgoing, warm and generous woman, she volunteered her time and efforts for the YMCA and for her churches, as well as for ten years as a driver for the American Red Cross. Jeanette organized blood donation drives while at Texas Instruments, was a member of the Texas Instruments Retirees Club, and was active at the Hockomock YMCA. She enjoyed traveling on cruise ships and throughout the country with her husband, playing Bingo, and cookouts in the backyard along the Ten Mile River. More than anything, Jeanette loved being with her family and friends, and always delighted in hosting gatherings for them. In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she leaves her loving children: Marilyn G. (Maynard) Cronin and her husband, Michael E. Cronin, of Norton, MA; Elaine D. (Maynard) Allard and her husband, Dale L. Allard, of South Attleboro, MA; Janet G. (Maynard) Duffy and her husband, Stephen Duffy, of Rogue River, OR; and Kenneth M. Maynard and his wife, Schelley Maynard, of Conyers, GA. She was the adoring Memere of Lynn M. Carpeno, Jennifer A. Prescott, Kelly L. Satti, Megan E. Duffy, and the late Jonathan D. Allard; and the proud Mem of eight great-grandchildren. Jeanette was the sister of the late Irene A. Grenier and her late husband, Raymond Grenier; Gloria E. Hague of Pawtucket, RI, and her late husband, Leonard Hague; the late Philip E. Langlois and his wife, Lorraine Langlois; and Walter R. Langlois of East Providence, RI, and his late wife, Eleanor Langlois. She leaves several nieces and nephews.Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Jeanette by gathering for a Visitation on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, North Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Seekonk.Burial services will immediately follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Attleboro.A Children's Room is available during the visitation and funeral service.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanette's name to a charity of one's choice.For additional information or to send the family a written expression of sympathy, please visit an online guest book at www.dyer-lakefuneralhome.com .
