Jean "John" Edward Thibeault

Jean "John" Edward Thibeault, 90, of Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. He was the loving and beloved husband of Aurore (Lavallee) Thibeault, to whom he was married for almost sixty-nine years.Born on November 25, 1926 in Central Falls, RI, he was the son of the late Joseph Arthur and Bertha (Fournier) Thibeault. John proudly and honorably served our country in the United States Army, and worked for thirty-five years as a Driver and Salesperson for the former Dotties Caterers in Pawtucket, RI. A resident of Attleboro since 2005, he previously lived in Vero Beach, FL. John was an avid golfer, remarkably having made three holes in one. He enjoyed playing cards and cooking, especially making wonderful breakfasts. He loved the ocean and was an ardent hockey fan. As a younger man, he enjoyed bowling and participating in roller skating competitions with his wife. More than anything, though, John loved being with his cherished family.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: John P. Thibeault and his wife, Janis R. (Scaldini) Thibeault, of Attleboro, MA; Claudia A. (Thibeault) Bliss and her husband, William "Bill" E. Bliss, of Attleboro, MA; and James A. Thibeault and his wife, Lynn M. (Lacasse) Thibeault of North Kingstown, RI. He was the adoring grandfather of six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. John was the brother of Normand Thibeault of Cumberland, RI; and Roger Thibeault of FL. He was predeceased by his brothers: Paul Thibeault, Henry Thibeault, and Eddy Thibeault.
