Jason Eric Oesterle

Jason Eric Oesterle, 33, of Cumberland, Rhode Island; formerly of Attleboro; died on November 17, 2014 surrounded by loved ones at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Born in Providence, Rhode Island on December 31, 1980, he was a son of William Oesterle of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and Barbara L. (Souto) Oesterle of Cumberland, Rhode Island. He was raised and educated in the City of Attleboro where he was a member of the Class of 2000 at Attleboro High School. He resided in Cumberland, Rhode Island for the past 17 years. Mr. Oesterle was employed as a flooring installer for various local companies. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends as a hardworking, kind hearted, gentle soul, always willing to help others in need. Jason's final gift in this life was the donation of organs that were able to save the lives of five others and he will forever be remembered as a hero. He treasured the time spent in the company of his family and friends and had a lifelong love for animals and music. In addition to his parents, he leaves a sister: Pamela B. Rath and her husband, Gregory A. Rath, of South Attleboro; a brother: Jeffrey W. Oesterle and his wife, Patricia L. Lapide Oesterle, of Brooklyn, New York; three nephews: Chase, Nathaniel and Benjamin and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Burial will follow in Newell Burying Ground, South Attleboro. Children's room is available during the visitation and the funeral service. Please omit flowers.
