Jared Andrew Betts

Jared Andrew Betts, 28, of South Attleboro, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017. He was the beloved son of Frederick J. Betts of Block Island, RI, and Vicki L. (Courcy) DeYoung of South Attleboro, MA.Born on January 17, 1989 in Attleboro, MA, he was a lifelong resident of Attleboro, and worked for several years as a Construction Worker on Block Island. He loved all outdoors activities such as fishing, boating, car mechanics, anything that got his hands dirty and especially spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was the brother of Joshua A. Betts of KY; Bradford A. Betts and his wife, Jerika (Frayre) Betts, of TX; and Katelyn L. Betts of Attleboro, MA. He was the grandson of Bonnie L. (Juskiewitz) Courcy and the late Alfred E. Courcy, and the late Charles D. Betts and the late Doris V. (Howarth) Betts. Jared was the uncle of several nephews and nieces. He leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon.
