Janice Ann Falzone

Janice Ann (Bessette) Falzone, 71, of South Washington Street, North Attleboro, died unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. She was the wife of the late Ronald J. Falzone who died in September 2000. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on November 17, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Fernande (Audette) Bessette. She was raised and educated in North Attleboro and remained a resident of the community for most of her life with the exception of the years spent in Attleboro and Taunton. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Falzone was employed at C. Ray Randall Company and Gaudette Leather Goods, Inc. both in North Attleboro for many years. While a resident of North Attleboro, Mrs. Falzone was a communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church in the Village of Attleboro Falls. She treasured the time spent with family creating lifelong cherished memories. Mrs. Falzone was a cat lover. She leaves a daughter: Laura M. Holcomb and her husband, Scott C. Holcomb, of Attleboro; three grandchildren: Adam Bessette of Cedar Grove, North Carolina and Elizabeth and Christopher Holcomb both of Attleboro and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. She was the mother of the late Jeffery Michael Bessette who passed recently and Steven D. Falzone who died in 1974. Mrs. Falzone was the sister of the late Phyllis C. Rancourt who died in June 2008. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 5:00 7:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 9:00 AM at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 105 Stanley Street (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, 1/2 mile on the right turn right onto Stanley Street), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Thomas A. Frechette, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Towne Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the commencement of the Mass of Christian Burial. Following cemetery services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced. Please do not send flowers.
