Janet L. Clemmey

Janet L. Clemmey, 53 of Attleboro, MA., passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving and devoted family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Norwood, MA., on April 2, 1971, she was the beloved daughter of Leslie (Hartshorn) Clemmey and the late John L. Clemmey.

Janet took pleasure in visiting the beach, celebrating Christmas, collecting nutcrackers, admiring elephants, and indulging in her passion for movies. She devoted the majority of her time to her family and friends.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her loving sons, Douglas Swenson and his wife Madeleine, Joshua Swenson and Andrew Pawlowski all of Attleboro. She is also survived by her devoted brothers, Keith Clemmey, Chris Clemmey and Brian Clemmey, all of Mansfield; a sister-in-law and lifelong friend Jaine Sonntag of Foxboro, her God son Christopher Torres of Attleboro, and a cherished granddaughter, Ruby Swenson, as well as her aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Monday, October 28, 2024, any time from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed immediately by a Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. The burial will be private at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield, MA.
