Jane Ann Anderson

Jane Ann Anderson, 73, of North Attleboro, MA passed away on January 31, 2023, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of Arlie Peter Anderson to whom she was married on May 13, 1972.
Born in December 28, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Austin F. Turner and the late Goldie Pearl (Franks) Turner. Raised and educated in Foxboro, MA, she was a 1968 graduate of Foxboro High School and later earned an associate's degree from Massasoit Community College. She was a proud member of the National Honor Society while a student at Foxboro High School.
Mrs. Anderson was employed as an executive assistant for the former New England Pottery, Olin Brass and Raytheon Company. Her organizational and typing prowess were unmatched, with reaching over 100 typed words per minute and taking pride in her shorthand note-taking ability. Her true pride and joy was being a dedicated and devoted homemaker to her husband and son.
She loved her home and gardening, her grandchildren, playing scrabble with family and friends, reading, family camping and canoeing, and was a longtime animal lover, particularly watching the birds in her backyard, with over 50 years of loving her many cats and Dobermann Pinscher dogs.
In earlier years, she attended Old Town Congregational Church, North Attleboro.
An active cub scout leader, she also treasured the times watching her son play North Attleboro Little League baseball that was coached by her husband. Always active in her son's activities, she also was a member of the North Attleboro Parent Teacher Organization.
As a proud Nana, she was always putting together holiday themed sweets, secretly sharing her love of fruit Tic Tacs, reading books, watching BattleBots and playing countless board and card games with her grandsons.
In addition to her husband of almost 51 years, she leaves her cherished son: Eric Gunnar Anderson and his wife. Jillian Marie (McQuade) Anderson, of Littleton, MA; her beloved grandchildren: Tyler A. Anderson and Oliver F. Anderson both of Littleton, MA; her siblings: Dennis Turner and his wife, Lisa Turner, of Johnston, Rhode Island and Susan Cipriano and her husband, John Cipriano, of Rehoboth, MA and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was the sister of the late James Turner.
In addition, she leaves her husband's siblings: Carl Anderson and his wife, Jan Anderson, of Pineville, North Carolina; Marie Benthin and her husband, Greg Benthin, of Watertown, South Dakota; Maryann Anderson of Landers, California and the late Carol Marcum.
Services will be private.
