Jan Endriss Eskelund

Jan Endriss Eskelund, 71, of Rehoboth, MA passed away unexpectedly at her residence on September 10, 2025, following a period of declining health. She was the much-adored wife of Peter M. Eskelund with whom she shared 51 years.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island on October 23, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Ellsworth Kendall Endriss and the late Beatrice Ina (Kaplan) Endriss. She was raised and educated in Barrington, RI where she graduated from Barrington High School - Class of 1972.

Earlier in her career, she was an administrative assistant with her father's company, Rhode Island Casket Company, and later worked as a floral designer before finding her true calling as a breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

In addition to her love for dogs and floral design, she treasured the time spent gardening and reading.

Jan also leaves her sister: Valerie Endriss Forbes of New Mexico and several cousins and extended family members and friends.

She was the sister of the late Robert Endriss.

Family and friends are warmly welcome to attend Visitation on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed immediately by a Prayer Service and Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel".

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the Beaverdale Memorial Park, 90 Pine Rock Avenue, New Haven, CT.
