James Patrick Powers

James "Jimmy" Patrick Powers, 85, of Sudbury, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Sudbury Pines Extended Care in Sudbury.
Born on October 6, 1933, he was the son of the late Patrick James Powers and the late Katherine (Cadigan) Powers.
A lifelong resident of the Boston area, he worked for many years as a plasterer and in construction before retiring. He attended the Basilica and Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help "The Mission Church" in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts.
Jimmy was the loving father of Robert J. Powers of Newfane, VT; Linda M. (Powers) Fluckiger of Mansfield, MA; Patrick Powers of Mansfield, MA; and the late Thomas Powers. He was the proud grandfather of Shannon Powers, Eleanorlyn Falconer, Robert Fluckiger, Kayla Powers, and Patrick Powers, and an adoring great-grandfather. He was the brother of the late Mary McPhee and the former husband of the late Marie A. (Martello) Reynolds.
