James Joseph Moore, Sr., 69, of Lakeshore Drive, North Attleboro, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Brenda K. (Bailey) Moore to whom he was wed on July 26, 1970. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 11, 1944, he was a son of the late John and Melinda (Rivers) Kleinberg. Raised and educated in Wrentham, Mr. Moore was a graduate of King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham. He proudly served his country with the United States Navy. A resident of North Attleboro for the past 11 years, Mr. Moore previously resided in Attleboro. He was employed as a laborer for Fireball Heat Treating Co. in Attleboro for 19 years prior to his retirement at the age of 62. Previously, Mr. Moore was employed by B & J Manufacturing and Creed Rosary both in North Attleboro. An ardent sports fan, Mr. Moore particularly liked the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He once ran and completed the Boston Marathon. A lover of the outdoors, Mr. Moore enjoyed solving crossword puzzles but most cherished the time spent creating lifelong memories with his family. His family recalls a gentle soul who treasured life. In addition to his wife, he leaves three children: Lisa A. Moore of North Attleboro; James J. Moore, Jr. of Attleboro and Michael D. Moore of North Attleboro; four grandchildren: Stephanie L. Stubstad, Kayla M. Souza, Kenny M. Souza and Sebastian James Holt; two great grandchildren: Logan Paquin and Madison Stubstad and many dear friends. Visitation respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Committal Service Celebrating His Life on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne with the Rev.
