James Robert Kimball, 79, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Attleboro Health Care in Attleboro, MA. Born on January 8, 1938 in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late James Norman Kimball and the late Mary J. (Huntoon) Kimball.A graduate of Blackstone High School, he enjoyed work as a self-employed Carpenter for many years before retiring. James proudly and honorably served our country in the United States Army.A resident of North Attleboro for the past two years, he lived most of his life in Blackstone, MA, where he was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church. A creative and artistic man, he enjoyed woodworking and painting. James was the loving and beloved father of Kathleen Ann Kimball of Woonsocket, RI; James Francis Kimball of TX; and Janice Marie (Kimball) Hare and her husband, Michael R. Hare, of North Attleboro, MA. He was the adoring grandfather of Ryan Kimball, Jimmy Lee Kimball, Erik Palmer, Amouree Kimball, Jesse Kimball, Crystle Kimball, and Logun Kimball, and the proud great-grandfather of Nova, Lennon, and Jade. He was the dear brother of Joseph "Paul" Kimball and his companion, Simone Shewcv, of Blackstone, MA; and leaves his nephew, Jeffrey, and his niece, Laurie.
