James "Jim" Edward Waters Iii

James Edward Waters III, 76, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. Born on December 31, 1940 in Hyannis, MA, he was the son of the late James Edward Waters, Jr., and the late Margaret (Bragg) Waters. A graduate of Warren (RI) High School, he worked for many years as the Owner and Operator of Neadco Advertising in North Attleboro before retiring. James had proudly and honorably served our country in the United States Navy.An avid golfer who enjoyed Traveling as well as spending time with his family, he was a resident of North Attleboro for the past thirty years, having previously lived in Mansfield, MA. He is survived by his companion, Linda A. Perry of North Attleboro, MA; his beloved children: Donna M. Maitland of Taunton, MA; James A. Waters of Barrington, RI; Scott D. Waters of Montana; and Suzanne L. Follett of Swansea, MA; and his step-children: John Colangelo and Renee Colangelo, both of Michigan. He was a proud and adoring grandfather and great-grandfather. James was the brother of Connie T. D'Antonio and Kathleen Kenney, both of Florida, and the late Thomas Waters. He leaves seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.Private graveside services will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA at a later date to be announced.
