James John Davis

James "Jim" John Davis, 56, of North Attleboro, MA, peacefully passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.Born on June 22, 1961 in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Richard H. Davis, Jr. and the late Rachel J. "Jean" (Foster) Davis. A graduate of Boston English High School, Class of 1980, he worked for many years as a self-employed Painter, having previously worked as a Truck Driver and member of the Teamsters Union. Jim proudly and honorably served our country as a member of the United States Air Force. A resident of North Attleboro for the past seventeen years, he previously resided in Jamaica Plain, MA.Jim was a warm, gregarious, outgoing man with a wonderful sense of humor, and who loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a special place in his heart for "Roscoe" and "Figaro", his two cats, and always enjoyed attending area car shows. He was the beloved brother of Margaret F. Grover of Tennessee; Richard H. Davis III and his wife, Helen Davis, of North Attleboro, MA; Edward W. Davis and his wife, Kathleen Davis, of Norwood, MA; and Paul D. Davis of North Attleboro, MA.
