James Michael Dalton

James Michael Dalton, 54, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 4, 2019 at his home with his family at his side. He was the beloved husband of Deborah Marie (Johnson) Kyser.
Born on October 15, 1965 in Boston, MA, he was the son of Thomas W. Dalton Sr. of Falmouth, MA and the late Charlotte (McFadden) Dalton.
A resident of Attleboro for the past seven years, he lived most of his life in Walpole, MA, where he was raised and educated.
James worked for over fifteen years for the Town of Needham Public Works Department, and previously worked for Sysco Corporation in Mansfield, MA.
Honest, loyal and down to earth, Jim was a traditional hardworking man who enjoyed The Camp and riding his Harley. He could often be found sitting on the porch smoking his cigars, drinking a beer and listening to classic rock. More than all that, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Deborah, and his father, Thomas, he leaves his loving and much loved children: Michelle J. Kyser and her wife, Maricela Garcia, of Northampton, MA; Evan R. Kyser and his wife, Lindsay A. Kyser, of Los Angeles, CA; and Eric M. Kyser and his fiancé, Norah Bruce, of Pembroke, MA. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of Felix Richard Kyser-Garcia of Northampton, MA. James was the dear brother of Kathleen Jackson of Falmouth, MA; Maureen Dalton of Walpole, MA; Thomas W. Dalton Jr. of Wrentham, MA; John Patrick Dalton of Walpole, MA; and Eileen Moriarty of Falmouth, MA. He leaves many nieces and nephews, his extended family, and many dear friends.
Friends and relatives are cordially invited to honor and remember James by gathering for a Visitation on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Funeral Service at 8:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
His family respectfully asks that flowers not be sent, and in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of James to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
