James Allen April

James Allen April, 67, of Attleboro and Mashpee, MA, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 13, 2021.
Born on September 19, 1953, in Attleboro, James was the son of the late Alice (Cabral) April and Lucien April.
James graduated from Fisher College in 1992 with a degree in Science Technology and from the University of Massachusetts at Boston and Bay State School of Technology with a degree in Computer Electronics in 1999.
He served as a Senior Computer Technician for Off-Tech and Toshiba Business Solutions for twenty-five years until his retirement in December 2020.
Throughout the years, James was devoted to caring for his family and friends. His special gifts of compassion, kindness, generosity, and love, spread easily to all those he met.
He had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge about anthropology, politics, coin collecting, landscaping, and travel.
James is survived by his wife, Ann Zmudsky of Attleboro and Mashpee, MA; his brothers: Stephen April of Attleboro, MA; Richard April of Attleboro, MA; his sister-in-law, Evelyn LaMont of Billings, MT; his nephews: Capt. Aaron LaMont of Portland, OR and Tyler LaMont of San Diego, CA; and several nieces and nephews.  James was preceded in death by his brother, Peter April.
A Private Celebration of James' life will be held later in the Fall.
