James Robinson Ambler, 77, of Seekonk, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Nancy E. (Kelley) Ambler to whom he was married for 38 years. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on May 10, 1934, he was a son of the late Harry and Florence (Barton) Ambler. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Ambler was employed for many years at Sheldahl Corp. of Rumford, Rhode Island before owning and operating Custom Plastic Converting, Inc. for 25 years prior to his retirement in 2005. In addition to his wife, he leaves four children: Jeanne Cournoyer of Chepachet, Rhode Island; Jill Buckley of Zionsville, IN; William Ambler of Warwick, Rhode Island and Jonathan Ambler of Little Compton, Rhode Island; four grandchildren: Timothy and Elizabeth Cournoyer and Kelsi and Garrick Buckley. He was the brother of the late Ruth Ambler whom had resided in Framingham. All services will be private.
